How to create a Databoard
A Databoard is a dashboard that is made up of Datablocks. All Databoards are optimized for desktop and mobile use.
How to create a new Databoard
Navigate to theDataboardspage. Click the green+ New Databoardbutton to create a new Databoard.
You'll have the option to selectUse WizardorStart Blank. The Wizard will take you through a simple process, similar to the signup flow, that prompts you to select a Data Source and Metrics to immediately populate on the Databoard. If you choose to Start Blank, you will be taken directly to the Designer to create your Databoard from scratch.
How to add a Datablock from the Datablock Library to a Databoard
The Datablock Library consists of over 3,000 pre-built Datablocks which are combinations of Metrics and Visualizations Types based on the most popular use cases.

Click on theDatablock Libraryicon on the left side of the Designer

Select theData Sourcethat you want to add to your Databoard from the Datablock Library drop-down list

View the list of pre-built Datablocks for the selected Data Source. You can search for specific Metrics using the Search bar at the top of the Datablock Library. You can view Basic, Custom and Calculated Metrics by clicking on the corresponding tabs at the top of the Datablock Library.

Drag and drop the selected Datablock onto your Databoard. This will automatically re-populate with data from the selected Data Source

Click on the Datablock on the Databoard. This will open the corresponding Property Manager on the righthand side of the Designer. Using the Property Manager, you can further customize the Datablock as you see fit.
How to add a Datablock from the Visualization Library to a Databoard

Click on the Datablock Library icon on the left side of the Designer

Select the Data Source that you want to add to your Databoard from the Datablock Library drop-down list

View the list of pre-built Datablocks for the selected Data Source. You can search for specific Metrics using the Search bar at the top of the Datablock Library. You can view Basic, Custom and Calculated Metrics by clicking on the corresponding tabs at the top of the Datablock Library.

Click on the Datablock on the Databoard. This will open the corresponding Property Manager on the righthand side of the Designer. Using the Property Manager, you can further customize the Datablock as you see fit.
How to add a Datablock from My Metrics to a Databoard
When you add Metrics to your Metrics screen, you'll see them listed in My Metrics. This helps align your team around the right Metrics and makes it easier than ever to use these Metrics on Databoards.
1Click the My Metrics icon on the lefthand side of the Designer.
2Click on the visualization icon to the left of the Metric you'd like to add to your Databoard. Select a visualization for your Metric.
3Click on the Datablock to open the associated Datablock Settings panel on the righthand side of the Designer. From here, you can use
Datablock Settingsto customize the Datablock to meet your needs.
4To add another Datablock to the Databoard, navigate back to My Metrics and choose the next visualization that you want to add to your Databoard.
Each Datablock is completely unique from all other Datablocks on the Databoard.
5Drag and drop the selected Datablock to your Databoard. Customize the Datablock using the Datablock Settings panel.

Repeat this process for the remaining Datablocks you want to add to your Databoard.
